I don’t agree with this article, because, if they ban smartphones, then most kids don’t have anything to do work on. We’re limited to a certain amount of computers, so it’s the first come, first serve policy, then the kids who don’t have a computer won’t have anything to work on. Many kids also have books on their phones, so the school may not have the book, so they won’t be able to finish the book, even when they ask for a reading assignment. The article may say that the test scores increased 6.1% when kids don’t have their smartphone, but another article shows that kids do better with their smartphone. Without a smartphone, the school bans many apps that kids use, so then they can’t read it on the computer, they can only read it on their phone. Teachers might include projects, which kids can only work on their phones, so without their phone, the kids won’t be able to work on the project, and they might fail. In conclusion, I think that kids do a lot better when schools allow smartphones. Some schools have also included iPad, and those have helped the students a lot, and should continue to help.
